The charitable trust is independent from the governance and activities of the Company of Human Resource Professionals with the trustees having the power to nominate beneficiaries and allocate funds at their own discretion.

The trustees are selected based on their prior working and trustee experience and this is varied to maintain the integrity of the Trust.
The trust is a small charity in its formative stages. It received approval for the Charity Commission to operate as a Charity Incorporated Organisation in June 2019.
